Mazda Ford Partner was reported to be developing Series PHEV based on Mazda 5 MPV platform. 5/17/06 "Plugin hybrids have a lot of promise, especially to displace oil consumption. The resulting fuel efficiency improvements mean lower CO2 emissions and less fossil fuel consumption and, therefore, less pollution.
