Juneau residents will begin to see Capital Transit’s first battery-electric bus in service and on the road tomorrow. This is the first electric bus owned and operated by a public transit agency in Alaska. Juneau Mayor Beth Weldon hosted the dedication ceremony of the first battery-electric bus to join Capital Transit’s fleet.

Toyota EPU (effectively an electric Hilux) Toyota EPU concept is an electric four-door ute Toyota has been glacially slow to the EV market but at the 2023 Tokyo motor show there were signs the message had finally sunk in. Both were way-off concept cars but show the brand is serious (eventually) about protecting its ute patch.

New South Wales has earmarked money to help cover the cost difference between buying gas-powered fleet vehicles and electric ones. EV, as we see time and again, doesn’t just mean electric cars.
