The CX-50 is built at the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing (MTM) plant in Huntsville, Alabama. The CX-50 is slated to be offered with electrified powertrains (date to be announced), including as a hybrid. Fuel economy is rated at 24 mpg city/30 highway/27 combined mpg for the base engine and 23/29/25 for the turbocharged CX-50 we drove.
