One was the conversion kit by Hyderabad based e-Trio, and the other was Pune based Northway Motorsports. Some wanted to convert a Maruti Dzire, some an Audi A4, some an Hyundai i20, and some a Tata Nano. Only when a kit provider has successfully got certified can they start selling the kit in the market.

Here we’re testing the most affordable model, the $134,900 (plus on-road costs) EQE 300 SUV. The logical opposition for the EQE SUV include the Audi Q8 e-tron , BMW iX and Lexus RZ450e. As its name suggests it is E-class (large) sized and is styled like an SUV (wagon). There’s also an EQE sedan on offer. 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE 300 SUV.
