Hyundai Motor Group has launched MoceanLab, a mobility service venture, as part of the Group’s larger initiative to create a sustainable, connected future. MoceanLab will provide mobility services in the City of Los Angeles, and expand its services to autonomous ridesharing, shuttling, multimodal transportation, and personal mobility.

The Hyundai Vision T concept revealed Wednesday at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show has a future in showrooms, but the future of its plug-in hybrid powertrain isn't certain. The Vision T wears matte-green paint to signal the advances its powertrain makes, versus today's Hyundai gas-powered SUVs.

Last week, as part of the little known and unadvertised “Bolt Buyback” program GM quietly created in response to the recall of all their 2017- 2019 Bolts, Chevy paid $37,900 to buy this car back from us. But I was still stoked to exhibit the car at every LA area EV Expo, Earth Day Event and Plug-In spectacular.

Genesis showed a pre-production 2023 Electrified GV70 to a few members of the automotive media a week before the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show. The grille, now closed-off as air flow to a radiator is not needed, has an attractive grid pattern with a hidden door on the right front where the charge cord is plugged-in.
