South Korea-based SK On (SKO), a global EV battery manufacturer, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Australia’s Global Lithium Resources to explore future business opportunities together in regard to stable supply of lithium. Incorporated in 2018, Global Lithium was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange last year.

Around 160,000 units of Audi’s first electric model have been delivered since 2018. Audi is focusing on transforming production from the inside out with the aim of heralding the future of production at Audi, the 360factory. The companies that supply the battery cells are obliged to use only renewable energy sources for production.

Mercedes-Benz Cars is starting construction of its first “Full-Flex Plant“ in Kecskemét, Hungary, about 90 km in the south of Budapest. With an investment of one billion euros, we are building in Hungary the first ‘Full-Flex Plant’ in the global production network of Mercedes-Benz Cars. Three of them are currently being established.
