Volkswagen founds mobility services company in Rwanda; to begin local assembly of Polo and Passat

Production will start with several hundred vehicles in mid-2018, and capacity will gradually be expanded to up to 5,000 vehicles per year. Volkswagen & Siemens launch joint electric mobility pilot project in Rwanda
