Mercedes-Benz Vans plans to release a series-production vehicle on the basis of the Concept EQV, to be presented to the public at this year’s Frankfurt Autoshow. The Concept EQV is representative of the consistent development of the “EQ” technology brand. At the 2017 IAA, the “Concept EQA” followed in the compact segment.

The EQS, the first electric luxury sedan from Mercedes-Benz, will start in the first half of 2021 in Factory 56 at the Sindelfingen site (Germany). Compact car class customers can look forward to two fully electric compact SUVs in the EQA and EQB in 2021.

Audi’s e-tron quattro battery-electric SUV concept, which made its formal debut at IAA in Frankfurt ( earlier post ), is a strong indicator of Audi’s series-production electric SUV due in 2018—especially in terms of the powertrain. Power is provided by a liquid-cooled 95 kWh Li-ion pack.

The production-oriented A6 Avant e-tron concept car now illustrates the synthesis of pioneering drive technology and Audi’s traditional design world: the Avant (i.e., the wagon format).

The Jeep Recon is square, the ‘Wagoneer S’ is a sleek, luxurious midsize SUV, and the tiny Avenger will only be sold in Europe. Jeep brand announced it will sell four separate battery-electric SUVs in various markets by the end of 2025—three of which were unveiled this morning in an online presentation and event it called “Jeep 4xe Day.”.
