Seven-Eleven and Toyota entered into a basic agreement in August 2017 regarding considerations toward energy conservation and carbon dioxide emission reduction in store distribution and operation. The in-store FC generator will generate electricity from hydrogen for store use.

The latest Porsche plug-in hybrid includes the third new hybrid powertrain from Porsche since 2017. Power is stored in a 14.1 kW onboard charger, it is possible to recharge a fully depleted battery in 2.3 In both cases, the recharging process is quicker with the new Cayenne E-Hybrid than in prior models.

Exceeding its initial program targets, the plug-in 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid ( earlier post ) has earned an electric-mode fuel economy rating of 84 miles-per-gallon-equivalent (MPGe) from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Toyota unveiled the new Prius Prime plug-in hybrid (PHEV) at the 2016 New York International Auto Show. The biggest difference is that the Prius Prime can be plugged in at home to recharge its larger 8.8kWh battery pack. The 2017 Prius Prime will begin arriving in Toyota showrooms in late fall.

Keeping pace with its announced intention to roll out 10 plug-in hybrids by 2017 ( earlier post ), Mercedes-Benz introduced the new GLE550 e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid (PHEV) along with the other members of the new GLE family of full-size SUVs. kWh/100 km, the PHEV model is capable of up to 30 km (18.6 Mercedes-Benz GLE PHEV.
