Volkswagen introduced the new Arteon five-door fastback at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. TSI (92 kW); the improvements in fuel economy take effect across a wide range of the engine map. The most powerful TSI and TDI engines also have 4MOTION all-wheel drive as standard, while this is available as an option for the 140-kW TDI.

In only a few short years Genesis, the luxury division of Hyundai launched in 2017, released the excellent G70, G80 and G90 sedans. Running on 87 octane, the front wheels (all-wheel drive is not available) are driven through a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that has five driver selectable drive modes of Eco, Normal, Sport, Slippery and Snow/Sand. The Environmental Protection Agency, EPA , rates fuel economy at 40 highway when running in gasoline mode only.

Friction-reducing measures include a variable speed water pump, a clutched air compressor, low-viscosity oil and an improved cylinder kit. The SuperTruck uses a unique prototype control system, capable of optimizing engine performance in real time for maximum fuel efficiency. The truck chassis was redesigned as well.

It is the first vehicle available globally that has three available powertrains for it. Design objectives included: Fuel economy.

To cover all the needs of LAV customers, the vehicles will come in two lengths, each available in 5- and 7?seater PSA Groupe’s latest powertrains will include new diesel engines, presented in May 2017, which meet the requirements of the future Euro6.d seater versions. The new vehicles will be unveiled by their respective brands.
