E.ON to provide 10MW battery storage unit to Tucson Electric

Climate & Renewables North America, LLC (E.ON) signed an agreement with Tucson Electric Power (TEP) to provide frequency response and voltage control from a grid-scale, 10 megawatt (MW) battery energy storage facility with a 2 MW solar array. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2017.

Peloton in ARPA-E NEXTCAR project to cut HD truck fuel use by 20% with smart powertrains and platooning
