AvtoVAZ launches 3 concepts at Moscow Motor Show; collaboration with Renault-Nissan

LADA XRAY, a hatchback SUV based on the B0 platform, was developed by AvtoVAZ stylists while its body was developed jointly by Renault and AvtoVAZ. Production is scheduled to start in 2016 in Togliatti. AvtoVAZ and its LADA brand have been active in the MENA automotive market for decades.

DS introducing DS 7 CROSSBACK at Geneva show; PHEV model, autonomous driving features

DS Automobiles, the recent brand addition to the PSA Group, will introduce the DS 7 CROSSBACK SUV at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. A new assembly system called “kitting” has been put in place at the Mulhouse plant in France. The DS project team paid particular attention to how this car would be assembled.

Lucid quadruples size of its Arizona assembly plant for Gravity SUV launch – Charged EVs

While sales of the Air sedan have been slow, Lucid is planning much greater capacity for the Gravity, a three-row luxury SUV with 440 miles of range. The company has built the Lucid Air luxury sedan there for about two years, but the enlarged plant is needed for production of its second EV, the Gravity three-row SUV.
