One study looks at Fair Oaks Farms, a large dairy cooperative in Indiana with roughly 36,000 cows. That’s a 43% reduction in carbon emissions per gallon of milk, a selling point that helped the company negotiate an exclusive supply agreement with the national grocery chain Kroger. Energy Vision and Argonne produced the studies jointly.

A new study sponsored by Indiana University concludes that President Obama’s vision of one million plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) on US roads by 2015 will require concentrated efforts action from all stakeholders— the auto industry, federal government, the scientific community, and consumers—to be realized.

Californians purchasing a new Civic Natural Gas vehicle are now eligible for an immediate California Energy Commission $1,000 purchase credit supplied directly by certified Honda Civic Natural Gas dealers at the time of purchase. Per California’s AB 266, the expiration date for the white stickers has been extended to 1 January 2019.
