Among the changes Ford is implementing for its 2016 Ford Transit range, the flexible-fuel vehicle system will be standard equipment on 2016 Transit Connect vans with 2.5-liter Flex-fuel Transit Connect vans are engineered to run on E85 (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline), unleaded gasoline or any blend of the two.

Westport will unveil its natural gas powered 2015 Ford Transit Van at Parcel Forum. Used to transport passengers and cargo, the Westport WiNG Power System Transit van and cutaway models operate on dedicated CNG using a 3.7L Westport also offers the smaller Transit Connect with a 2.5L V6 gaseous prep engine.

So we’ve had Ram ProMasters since the 2015 model year, replacing the Dodge Sprinter van based on a design from previous owner Mercedes-Benz. liter V6 gasoline engine, but the new EV is still quite pricey. Nissan never offered its e-NV200 compact electric van here (and the gasoline NV200 itself is now gone too). Got all that?
