A survey by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) focused on the “entry generation” of vehicle buyers found that while there has not been any definitive major shift in terms of the basic appeal of cars, fewer young people today have strong feelings towards car ownership. Survey period was 12-14 November 2008.
