In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009. Plans "large demonstration fleet" late 2009. Weve kept the summary table below generally up-to-date for passenger PHEVs, but not for BEVs, motorcycles or larger vehicles like buses and trucks.

[link] [link] [link] Posted by: Smartlipo lazerlipoliz | Apr 15, 2009 5:53:53 AM Why currently does the Chevy Volt ONLY get 40 miles per charge ( without using the lawnmower engine to help it along ) when the 1996-2000 EV1 got 150 miles per charge using the SAME BATTERIES ( OVONIC )that were in the 2008 EV cars from GM ???? Never again.
