Average CO 2 emissions generated by new cars in Europe increased during 2017—the first rise in 10 years— according to a new analysis by JATO Dynamics. g/km in 2017, finishing at 118.1 g/km in 2017—far higher than the average CO 2 emissions of diesel and gasoline vehicles across all segments.

One will be a PHEV version of the new Chrysler Town & Country minivan to be introduced in 2016; the second will be a PHEV version of a new full-size crossover vehicle to be introduced in 2017. FCA is working on consolidating and improving its large and specialty engines lineup.

BMW’s new 530e plug-in hybrid ( earlier post ) will be produced at Magna’s contract manufacturing plant in Graz, Austria, starting in summer 2017. The first BMW produced in Graz, an X3 SUV, rolled off the assembly line in Graz in 2003. We are excited to be adding another electrified vehicle architecture to our line-up.
