Nissan also announced the introduction of an automatic transmission (AT) model with a clean-diesel engine in the Japanese market, planned for spring 2010. Nissan estimates—based on the findings of AR4—that the CO 2 emissions of all new vehicles in 2050 would need to be reduced by 90% compared to the 2000 level. Raleigh, N.C.
