By about 2000, BYD had become one of the worlds largest manufacturers of cellphone batteries.

If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power.
