Cheers PHEV3A'rs, EVADC'rs, and EVnthusiasts, One & All - The "Spirit" all charged up at the Ashers in Phoenix proceeded over to the Suiters in Glendale, essentially going 9 electric miles there. Phoenix EAA may get new members when on Tuesday (fingers crossed) Amanda's EVforts pay off on ASU's Channel 8. It was a neat time!

EVJerr even signed up for the 2009 Prius PHEV, too! Second Run was to University of Arizona in Tucson. Third Run was to Tempe, just nearby Phoenix. MPG going in/around Bisbee, over to Sierra Vista, up to Tucson and on to Tempe for some 493.7 A Historic first at Sierra Toyota.

And EVJerr's blogging from Tucson with a couple sites to hit -- the popular bookstore, Bookman's is installing two e-vehicle chargers at two sites and one in Phoenix (See Arizona Daily Star, Thursday, 3 Dec "Ground broken for e-vehicle chargers" article by Dan Sorenson). if time just doesn't jet by, since last posting.

Plug-ins would simple be either pure EVs or PHEVs, and hopefully tapping into homegrown American electrons for the drive to have America energy independence once again. Phoenix, Maricopa Cty 15. The general theme (and purpose) is: Plug-in Arizona! Prescott, Yavapai Holbrook, Navajo Cty 8. Flagstaff, Coconino City 9. Globe, Gila Cty 14.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance is building fleet charging stations in Portland and Phoenix. Glad to see the variety & availability of electic commuter cars (vs hybrids & PHEV) is rising. A car that gets 60 mpg still burns 17 gallons of gas every 1,000 miles versus a car that gets 21 mpg using E85 (my Chevy Impala) that burns 7.1
