The Piaggio MP3 is a three wheeled maxi-scooter already being sold in the USA! Not everyone wants to get hot and sweaty to go to a restaurant, and parking is such an issue in downtown Los Angeles (and Beverly Hills) that buses are almost tolerable. America is too much into BIG. Big everything. Check it out.

Even stories that got much wrong, such as The Independent of London, England, here , concluded "the electric car is probably the [alternative] with the greatest potential." Tesla had a red carpet grand opening for its first showroom and service center in Los Angeles. Journal here. Smaller automakers continue to make the news.
