With proximity to owned refinery operations, its mining reserves will provide a consistent supply of low-cost bauxite. Alcoa has also invested in what it says is the most advanced, low-cost integrated aluminum complex in the world in Saudi Arabia, with the refinery and smelter now fully operational.
