It has a top speed of 50mph and the Altec AT37-G allows for electric utility line maintenance and installation with a maximum height of 37.8ft.

The Smith Newton electric truck is powered by lithium-ion batteries from Valence Technology and a 120 kW induction motor for a range of more than 100 miles on a single charge.
