Earlier this month, researchers from MIT said they had developed a process that within three years could lead to electric car batteries able to recharge in as little as five minutes. For on-the-go juice ups, the idea is to exchange your dead battery for a fresh one owned by Better Place. The price goes up with demand and usage.

One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? Engineering proptypes enjoy a tax break. Companies can not sell engineering prototypes in which the company got R&D tax breaks in developing the product. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level.
