I like to use the example of someone driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. A vehicle with a 200 mile range like the Tesla Roadster would easily be able to do the trip with one recharge. I like this example because it is a 300 mile drive done by millions of motorists each year. I have never been a big fan of battery swapping.
