Toyota To Recall Up to 17,000 Lexus HS 250h Hybrids

intends to conduct a voluntary safety recall of potentially 17,000 2010 model year Lexus HS 250h hybrid vehicles to address a compliance issue with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 301. As part of its annual compliance testing program, the NHTSA recently conducted a test of the 2010 model year HS 250h.

Lexus Prices the 2010 HS 250h Starting at $34,200

The 2010 HS 250h, Lexus’ first dedicated hybrid and the fourth offering in its lineup ( earlier post ), will carry an MSRP for the standard version of $34,200, while the Premium model will carry an MSRP of $36,970. The HS 250h has the best combined EPA mpg rating of any luxury vehicle in the US.
