A 220 volt socket like on your water heater or dryer would be better, ad these typically have 40 or 50 amp circuits, so they can deliver 8,000 to 10,000 watts - is this what they mean? GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Honda has probably sold more Civics in a year than the combined total of all 18 of those GM models. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do you see that?
