Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) reported September sales of 126,015 vehicles, a decrease of 12.6% year-on-year, and Highlander Hybrid posted 269 units, down 70.8% American Honda Motor Co., Honda hybrid sales dropped 6% year-on-year to 1,898 units. to 152 units, but the new Honda Insight posted 1,746 units.

Reported sales of hybrids in the US reported by Toyota, Honda, Ford, GM and Nissan dropped 45.5% year-on-year in April to 21,735, despite full month sales for the new Honda Insight and the Ford Fusion and Milan hybrids. General Motors: GM sold a total of 1,708 hybrids during the month – an increase of 4.8 Honda: The company sold a total of 4,943 hybrids during the month with 4,226 of these units being the new Honda Insight. per cent to 2,114 units; and sales of the Highlander Hybrid were down 31.9 per cent to 836 units.
