Another three are on the West Coast and in Hawaii: Seattle (4), Portland (5), and Honolulu (6). Honolulu, with 26 quick chargers, has one of densest charging grids in the US. High-visibility projects such as the LEAF taxi pilot have helped to raise consumer awareness. Oregon has a Chief EV Officer to promote EV use.

We could take an Oslo taxi and charge it in a bus terminal in Wenatchee, Washington or vice versa. I’ve yet to see a single plug-in charger company talk about their grid-to-battery efficiency. In our Gothenburg and Oslo taxi projects, the chargers are at the taxi stands. John Holland: Yes.

The LEVC electric taxi might still be the only EV that both designed *and* produced on UK’s home turf. Sure, 2x more people live within Seattle city limits than in all of Iceland’s huge expanses. Also, Portugal is where Jose calls home. Electric bus deliveries were a bit down in 2020 though, with an estimated E-bus share of only ~1%.
