Although Black Rock City probably has the worst air in the west during its brief annual existence, it is where I had my first electric transport epiphany. The electric sofas and scooters were so much cooler - and quieter - than the gasoline powered stinkers that predominate.

My friend (same one who made the ice cream truck sound effect comment to me) asked me if this was some kind of conspiracy from gasoline advocates to try and further delay mass acceptance of EVs. While I dont know how they would go about doing the testing (scientifically speaking), it should be quite feasible.

Think has also established partnerships in the U.S. Think Global was formerly known as Think City, a prior Ford Motor Company ( F ) acquisition and part of a now-defunct Think division at Ford. The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled.
