Doosan delivers first dual-fuel, low-speed engine to NASSCO shipyard

Doosan Engine, a licensee of MAN Diesel & Turbo technology, has confirmed delivery of the world’s first dual-fuel, low-speed ME-GI (main engine, gas injection) engine to the American National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) shipyard in San Diego. The vessels will each be powered by a single 8L70ME-GI dual-fuel gas-powered engine.
