If you’re feeling the impact of today’s $5 a gallon gas and rising food prices and worried about the dropping equity in your home then wait till you see what’s coming in your immediate future. So far GM, Toyota, Nissan, VW, Mitsubishi, have all announced plug in vehicles they will have for sale in 2010. That’s 18 months away.

And if you think that’s an exaggeration, then I’m afraid you just don’t know what you’re talking about and that makes YOU not just a big part of the problem, that makes you dangerous to our future well being. In the future, utilities will pay you to plug-in your vehicle. Nissan, through its joint venture with NEC, has created a battery pack that meets the requirements of the electric vehicle and will produce it in mass volume. For the future, Renault is working on development of exchangeable batteries for continuous mobility.
