No because we are just now getting the technology to do a marketable EV. That is the the Mini Cooper EV can only be leased and then DESTROYED when the lease if over. If no one wants your car (because people think it sucks), then no one will buy it, regardless of how good the fuel economy may or may not be. you see that?
