Demand for CNG-powered passenger cars and SUVs has bounced back. This takes the total number of CNG cars and SUVs sold in India to 23, with market leader Maruti Suzuki India having the biggest portfolio of 13 models, followed by Tata Motors (4 models) and Hyundai and Toyota Kirloskar Motor (three models each).

It was a Manufacturing Failure, as GM NEVER planned to build the car in Volume, so No Economies of Scale were ever achieved. If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. GM is making strides increasing their cars fuel economy. WTF do they need ANOTHER $10.3B
