Some curious vehicles have emerged on the electric vehicle market over the years, and few have been more curious than the Triac. Made by Green Vehicles of Salinas, California, it touted a 100-mile range, an 80 mph top speed, and a price tag of $25,000. We first wrote about the Triac three-wheel electric vehicle back in 2010.

A car like the Circuit does not like to be stuck on roads with 25 mph speed limits, but those roads made up most of the prescribed route. The trouble is you then have to stop right away, which brings about some pretty strong regenerative braking action, something that Chrysler needs to work on before making the Circuit available for sale.
