Verizon has purchased 576 Chevrolet Silverado Hybrids. The 2010 Silverado Hybrid is a full-size, fully-capable, V8-powered two-mode hybrid truck that delivers up to a 40% improvement in city cycle fuel economy. V-8 engine to operate in its more economical V-4 mode for longer periods.

The 2015 model vehicles were purchased by local Houston company NewTex Plumbing and San Antonio-based Pioneer Energy Services.
