Like the Recovery Act-funded projects, the annual Clean Cities projects include grants for vehicles, infrastructure, and education. Clean Energy announced that it has extended its liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply agreement with the City of Phoenix. has announced an agreement with Clean Energy calling for up to 500,000 gallons of Redeem renewable natural gas (RNG) fuel for their fleet of 40 LNG trucks based out of their Clackamas, Oregon distribution center.

The company already has a large fleet of robotaxis in San Francisco, which can be ordered and paid for via its app, and hopes to procure a license in Los Angeles to operate and expand its service. California, too, has made a prime location for the human-less fleet in that robotaxis are immune from receiving moving violations.
