General Motors is rolling out the Volt In-Field Quality Assessment Program, which will run to the end of June, as General Motors concludes its production plant start-up phase. Exceptions will be made for Volts that have been selected for extended testing at the factory.

FCEV” refers to all fuel cell vehicles, including E-REVs and fuel cell hybrids. General Motors has released a white paper that evaluates the CO 2 reduction potential of extended-range electric vehicles (E-REVs) as well as plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), in combination with multiple vehicle charging scenarios, as compared to conventional hybrids.

In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. Weve kept the summary table below generally up-to-date for passenger PHEVs, but not for BEVs, motorcycles or larger vehicles like buses and trucks. Several dozen prototypes on 15-passenger van since 2004; now in second generation development; no production plans.
