Nellemann is one of Europe’s oldest auto distributors, with ties going back to Nash and Morris, and at present time Kia, Jaguar and Aston Martin. The Karma is an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV). It can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in about six seconds and achieve a top speed of 201 km/h (125 mph).

Two battery- electric models and a hybrid also are in the mix, with varied results. The Chevrolet Volt extended range electric vehicle and the Ford C-MAX Hybrid earned an acceptable rating in this test, while the battery-electric Nissan LEAF earned a poor rating. No one can touch the car until given the all-clear.
