Faraday Future provided further detail on plans for its new FX sub-brand at CES 2025 in Las Vegas this week. First outlined in a September 2024 investor presentation, the pair will be offered with fully electric and gasoline extended-range powertrains, Faraday says.

It will be available in a single-motor extended range and twin-motor performance version. The extended-range model will feature up to 275 miles driving range. Meanwhile, the performance includes up to 265 miles range but packs 422 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque for a 3.4s 0 to 60 mph sprint.

General Motors Chevy Volt series PHEV, which it calls "extended range electric vehicle" (EREV), part of "E-Flex" multi-fuel platform. Volkswagen CEO says "Future belongs to electric cars," has gained German government support for development. Its not in todays Prius and we wouldnt expect that in the future.
