I wish the thing was for sale as-is. Competition is going to force them to produce a comfortable, usable, extended range EV for that price, and I will just have to wait. Well they did give brief bursts of acceleration through the parking lot to show that it does have some Roadster goodness to it.

The head of Chryslers ENVI division, Lou Rhodes, told AutoblogGreen this morning that Chrysler is marketing this battery-only version of the van to commercial fleet customers who typically have shorter range requirements. The extended-range version will be focused on retail customers.

Continues promotion and development of hydrogen as long-term strategy. Company says its focusing on gasoline and hydrogen. Daimler/Mercedes Took over Daimler/Chrysler Sprinter PHEV program.
