Tanenbaum went on to serve as president of AT&T’s New Jersey Bell (now part of Verizon ) in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Based in Berlin, the DGS supports the introduction of solar technologies and renewable energy resources into the power grid. Later he helped develop optical fiber and digital telephone switching.

On the European power grid, the battery pack can be fully charged in just 3 hours at a wall box with a current of 50 ampere at 230/240 volts.
