Mercedes-Benz Cars plants in Germany to be supplied with CO2-neutral energy from 2022

As part of the electric offensive, Mercedes-Benz Cars counts on local emission-free vehicles. Already existing highly efficient gas CHP systems additionally generate local heat and power at the factories. Any resulting CO 2 -emissions are offset by qualified environmental projects. The plant will start operating in 2019.
