EIA: Almost all US renewable diesel is consumed in California; most isn’t made there

California accounts for nearly all renewable diesel consumption in the United States, but most of it isn’t made in the state, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). More than eight times the renewable diesel was consumed in California than was produced there in 2021.

Nissan also announced the introduction of an automatic transmission (AT) model with a clean-diesel engine in the Japanese market, planned for spring 2010. Deployment of infrastructure, including charging stations and incentives for zero-emissions vehicle purchases, are being studied. Nissan Motor Co., Raleigh, N.C. and Washington, D.C.
