GM is producing 2 vehicles a day with the goal of having a total of 76 vehicles available by the end of the summer; these vehicles will be used for validation testing ranging from fit and finish reviews, to durability testing to eventual crash testing. The Cadillac Converj extended-range electric vehicle Concept uses the Voltec platform.

Encased in metal and painted black, the battery looked much smaller than a Roadster pack and is said to be able to power the fortwo up to 100 miles. Competition is going to force them to produce a comfortable, usable, extended range EV for that price, and I will just have to wait. Mercedes please take note.
