(TMS) announced that New York City will join the company’s US Prius Plug-in Hybrid vehicle (PHV) demonstration program. As part of the demonstration program, two Prius Plug-in Hybrid vehicles will be handed over to the NYCDOT and three to the Port Authority to be used in their fleets.

is adding a Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid demonstration vehicle (PHV) to the WeCar program for Yahoo! Toyota is delivering more than 160 Prius PHV vehicles across the United States as part of a demonstration program. For longer distances, the Plug-In Hybrid vehicle reverts to conventional hybrid mode, operating as a regular Prius.

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has completed its three-year plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHV) demonstration project jointly carried out with Électricité de France (EDF) and the City and the Urban Community of Strasbourg in France. To date, around 31,100 plug-ins have been sold, equivalent to 1.5 Hybrids Plug-ins Trials' times a day.

Barbara Boxer attended a Silicon Valley Alternative Energy Summit today and PG&E was there with its plug-in hybrid Prius. The modified Toyota Prius was plugged into a into a standard PG&E meter outside Advanced Micro Devices's Sunnyvale headquarters. I hope Sen. Boxer had an epiphany.
