On Europcar’s French website it lists its electric fleet. Buzz on the Avis fleet. Battling a non-compliant DC charger somewhere in rural France This means any public charger I want to use, I’ll need to register with each individual company. All of this wastes time. Then it refuses to DC charge.

Aerovironment, one of the leading makers off fast charging systems, offers a version of their PossiCharge fast charging system that delivers 600amps DC, the same amount of current as the maximum available to three single family homes. If we look at a 120V system then we can push 120 * 600 = 72000 or 72KWHrs for a one hour charge.

We should have built more Nuclear power plants and created a nuclear waste recycling program. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. Commendation, absolutely, but GM needs to make sure their company continues on to make sure that money doesnt just go to waste.
