New York State announced a series of broad-scale initiatives to encourage the purchase and to increase the convenience and accessibility of electric vehicles (EV). EVolve NY will target four 150 kW chargers per location at average intervals of less than 75 miles along New York’s major corridors.

More than 145 million miles of telematics data show that for the average F-150 commercial customer in the US, 95% of their daily travel is less than 174 miles.

The challenge for the makers there is that there are multiple DC fast charging networks out there run by different companies. The main concern is purchase price or more likely, monthly payment.
