DOE awards more than $145M for advanced solar technologies under SunShot Initiative

The US Department of Energy (DOE) is awarding more than $145 million to 69 projects in 24 states to help shape the next generation of solar energy technologies. —Energy Secretary Steven Chu. The six categories of projects are: Extreme Balance of System Hardware Cost Reductions: Nine projects to receive $42 million.
