Phase 2 of New York’s Charge Ready program launched on July 19, 2023 and expands the EV charging infrastructure across the state. Charge Ready New York 2.0 will increase the number of installations of Level 2 chargers at workplaces, multi-unit dwellings (MUD), and public facilities in New York State.

John, I know you have a place in New York's Catskill Mountains, just down the ridgeline from the Hudson Valley, so you're sympathetic to my plight. New DC fast-charging stations are being built at a fairly fast clip.

We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. The property owners pay off the loans as an assessment item on their property tax bills. Momentum wearing your jersey you’re going to go on a scoring run. It’s a slam dunk.

Thats such a pretty metallic blue; I would love to see these postal vehicles around my neighborhood. New York 2009: The Scion iQ goes Big Wheels! 10:59AM (4/22/2009) I know it is a REALLY superficial criteria, but I love the paint scheme on the blue one pictured. Oh, and the whole electric thing is good too. Looks sharp.

In the United States, for example, there are more than 49,000 public charging stations , and it is now possible to drive an EV from New York to California using public charging networks.

Although charging infrastructure is beginning to find its way into cities, it may be awhile until they are available in residential neighborhoods en masse. A couple of drawbacks to consider might be the capitalization costs of building these stations and the batteries that they would have to have in stock.
